Payment

Payment is required at time of consultation, unless previous arrangements have been made.

We accept: Cash, Cheque, Visa, Mastercard, Eftpos, Afterpay, and Vet Pay.

Consultations

If you are unable to attend your appointment or are running late, please contact the clinic on (02) 6852 1775 as soon as possible.

We understand that unexpected circumstances can arise; however, we ask that every effort be made to notify the clinic at the earliest opportunity.

This allows us to offer appointment times to other patients and helps us provide timely care to all animals in need.

Walk- in Consultations

If you arrive at the clinic without an appointment, we will do our best to accommodate your pet as a walk-in. Please be aware that walk-in consultations are subject to veterinarian availability, may involve a waiting period, and incur an additional walk-in fee.

Animals requiring emergency treatment will always be prioritised and are exempt from the walk-in fee.

Dispensing medications

To ensure the safe and appropriate dispensing of medications, we require 24 hours' notice for all medication requests for existing patients.

This allows one of our veterinarians sufficient time to review the patient's medical records and approve the prescription. As our veterinarians are often fully booked with consultations and procedures throughout the day, medication requests may need to be reviewed outside of normal consulting hours.

We understand that urgent situations can arise, and every effort will be made to accommodate special circumstances where possible. However, immediate approval or dispensing of medications cannot always be guaranteed.

If your animal has not previously been seen by one of our veterinarians, a consultation will be required before prescription medication can be dispensed. Under the Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Act 1966, we can only prescribe medications for animals that are under our care.

If you are visiting the area or are unable to see your regular veterinarian, we are happy to discuss your circumstances and available options. We may also be able to dispense medication if you can provide a valid prescription from your regular veterinarian.

Livestock Inspections

For livestock patients, a current stock inspection (valid for 12 months) is required before prescription medications can be dispensed. If you are unsure whether a current stock inspection is on file, please contact our clinic and we will be happy to discuss your circumstances and available options.
